History

Prime Technological Services was founded in 1989 with a core team of industry veterans and a clear vision for quality from the inside out. Our strategy for helping our customers succeed has worked. We are now in our third location and have doubled our size with each move. In 2007, a private investment firm that specializes in mid-size manufacturers purchased Prime and began investing in newer technologies to leverage the growth strategy. Since, Prime has deployed its own financial capital on even more advanced manufacturing technologies, key personnel, processes such as lean manufacturing, and quality systems to help strengthen our position as a leader in high-mix, high-complexity, and quick-turn precision manufacturing. Prime is now poised for even greater growth and success in the EMS world.

For many years, our belief has been that the only source of enduring success for our business is winning and keeping happy customers. While many companies claim to be customer centric, at Prime we work hard to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for our customer’s success and how their success translates into benefit for our team members and owners. We communicate our commitment to these ideas through our Core Purpose, Core Values, and our Brand Promise.

Statement of Policy on Conflict Minerals

Prime Technological Services, LLC (“Prime) fully supports the initiative and goals of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Section 1502 (“Section 1502”) to discourage the use of conflict minerals.  Prime utilizes industry resources and guidelines provided by the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (“EICC”) and the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (“GeSI”) in avoiding the use of conflict minerals which directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo (“DRC”) or adjoining countries. Prime expects its suppliers (distributors and manufacturers) to take reasonable steps to assure that the products supplied by them that contain gold; tantalum, tungsten, and tin are conflict free. If Prime becomes aware of a supplier whose supply chain includes conflict minerals from conflict mines, Prime will take appropriate action including review of the commercial relationship. Prime is committed to the efforts of the EICC, GeSI, and other industry organizations to further benefit and promote the intended purpose of Section 1502. We have reviewed statements of policy of all significant distributors and manufacturers of components that may contain gold, tantalum, tungsten, or tin to determine if they are pursuing appropriate diligence measures to ensure any of these materials in their supply chain are conflict free.

Community Involvement

Their mission is to save and change the lives of children and teens, especially those who need us most, by providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment and programs that prepare and inspire them to achieve Great Futures.

Prime Technological Services participated in a teddy bear donation program to help local fire station 21.  Prime employees donated new teddy bears for local fire, police and emergency vehicles to be given to children who have experienced a catastrophe and are in the grip of trauma, in hopes of preventing or reducing, any lasting emotional damage to those children.  This program is one small way Prime is working to give back to our local community in Gwinnett County.

We are a proud supporter of Home of Hope, Gwinnett Children’s Shelter.
