Former Cisco Finance Director Joins Prime Technological Services as VP of Finance and Administration
Bryan Benfield joins the contract manufacturer to lead financial, information systems and human resources functions company-wide
SUWANEE, GA. – Dec. 1, 2016 – Prime Technological Services (Prime) today announced the strengthening of its executive team, naming Bryan Benfield, CPA, the company’s new vice president of finance and administration. Benfield will oversee all financial operations, information services and human resources company- wide, reporting directly to President and CEO Greg Chesnutt.
Benfield rose to the forefront of the company’s search due to his extensive background in manufacturing. Most notably, he supported Scientific Atlanta, a leading B2B broadband product and service provider, through a multi-billion-dollar acquisition and subsequent integration by Cisco. Having more than 25 years of experience, Benfield has excelled in financial strategy and advisory roles across industries from telecommunications and manufacturing to eCommerce.
“Bryan’s experience speaks for itself. From finance and treasury to information systems and cost accounting, his background showcases the ability to lead with vision,” said Chesnutt. “We consider this a major strategic victory for Prime Technological Services and are eager to have Bryan help continue building the business in the year ahead.”
In his new role, Benfield will lead all finance and accounting activities, in addition to directing the information technology and human resources functions. Prior to joining Prime, Benfield spent 25 years of his career at Scientific Atlanta and Cisco, where he went on to lead financial activities supporting Cisco’s technical services support business. He also served as the vice president of financial planning and analysis for Aptean, an Atlanta-based enterprise application software company.
Benfield graduated from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and holds his CPA license from the Georgia State Board of Accountancy.
